INNOVATION PRIZE 2022 VINCI CONSTRUCTION CS GROUP

At the end of May of 2022, the awards ceremony for the Innovation Prize 2022 of VINCI Construction CS Group took place. This was the 7th edition of the competition, but the first time it was held within the VINCI Construction CS Group. The aim of the competition is not only to recognize the submitted works but also to implement innovations into everyday practice.

A record 96 participants from VINCI Construction CS Group employees and students from technical universities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia entered the competition. They submitted a total of thirty-seven projects in one of the five categories: Materials and Tools, Procedures and Technologies, Marketing and Services, Management, and Student Competition.

The jury, composed of representatives from various areas of VINCI Construction CS Group, awarded not only the three most interesting projects in each category but also presented special awards: the Safety Award, the Sustainable Development Award, the Digital Transformation Award, and the Public Award. We thank the competition participants, the organizing committee, and everyone who supported this competition, and we look forward to the exciting projects for the VINCI Construction CS Group Innovation Prize 2023.

Who are we?

The teams at VINCI Construction CS Group work on addressing challenges related to mobility, reducing distances, improving living conditions, optimizing urban infrastructure, and enhancing urban biodiversity. We help connect cities and bring life to their surfaces and beneath them. All projects within our portfolio are significant to us—ranging from the largest and most complex to the smaller, everyday solutions addressing the needs of civil society.

In our projects, we continually strive to incorporate innovative ideas, new technologies, a culture of safety, and social and environmental performance.

Competition Rules

Submit a project—whether a semester or bachelor’s thesis—in the following areas:

The jury, composed of representatives from the group companies, will select the winning projects from the submitted entries. Project submitters will have the opportunity to consult with our experts and gain priority access to internships and employment opportunities within our group companies.
