About the company

The construction of the D4 section between Příbram and Písek (and its subsequent operation together with the already existing part of this highway) is historically the first PPP project in the Czech Republic. This type of project (PPP - Public Private Partnership) is a partnership between the public and private sectors, where it is a contractual relationship in which a private company ensures the construction and operation of infrastructure projects or services that are otherwise under the management of the public sector.

The completion of the D4 motorway is an important historical milestone, as such a major project had never been finished before on the basis of a partnership between the public and private sectors.
